- Born in St. Gallen, Switzerland
- Ph.D degree in Molecular Biology at University of Zürich/Switzerland
- First camera was a “Kodak Brownie”; it was a gift from my godmother at 12 years of age
- 37 years of:
- on/off black and white photography
- developing films and printing pictures in my own black and white laboratory
- 24x36 mm and medium format 6x6 cm film
- Polaroid SX-70
- Switched to digital photography in 2001
- Main interest in street, urban and jazz photography
- Jazz photography exhibition in a Geneva jazz club in 1995
- Portfolio in the Hasselblad magazine « Forum » in 1999
- Member of the “Société Genevoise de Photographie” (in charge of courses and workshops)
